I am excited to introduce a unique and enriching opportunity for your middle and high
school scholars for the summer of 2027: an immersive cultural and language experience in
the beautiful coastal city of Cádiz, Spain.

Spain Unscripted, an educational, immersive Spanish abroad program, created by Damian
Daveze in collaboration with CLIC (Centro de Lenguas e Intercambio Cultural), is for
scholars and parents who think outside the box when it comes to learning. It is for those
with a curiosity about the world and a desire to grow in their Spanish language skills. Spain
Unscripted offers far more than a traditional classroom experience. It is a full cultural
immersion that brings language learning to life.

From July 5 to August 1, 2027, students and parents are invited to live with carefully
selected local host families in Cádiz, or the school dormitory, giving them daily, authentic exposure to Spanish
language and customs.

Throughout the program, scholars will participate in:
 20 engaging Spanish language classes (Monday–Friday, 50 minutes each)
 20 cultural activities during the week that deepen understanding of Spanish
traditions and daily life
 3 full-day Saturday excursions to explore the rich history and landscapes
of the region
 Weekly Sunday group activities including beach outings and city
exploration led by Mr. Deveze and the Spain Unscripted team.

All instructions and guided experiences are conducted in Spanish, encouraging
students to actively use the language in meaningful, real-world contexts.
Students will be supported every step of the way by experienced educators
and chaperones, Mr. Deveze and the entire chaperone team are current middle school
educators in the private school sector and bring years of experience in the
classroom and leading students abroad. They will be present daily at the school,
attend all excursions, and lead Sunday activities, ensuring both academic
support and student well-being throughout the program.

The goal of Spain Unscripted is simple yet powerful:
To provide students and parents with a firsthand experience of the Spanish
language, culture, and way of life. We aim to foster independence, global awareness, and confidence in young
learners through meaningful immersion. To maintain a personalized and high-quality experience, participants will be
limited to a group of 12 to 15 students.

Program cost includes all transportation in the U.S. and Spain, room and board,
classes, excursions, roundtrip airfare, 24-hour emergency contact and
communication with Mr. Deveze and the Spain Unscripted team.

Looking ahead to 2028, the goal is to expand to three sessions for the summer
and bring this experience to different cities throughout Spain.

This is more than a summer program, it is an opportunity for scholars to grow academically, socially, and culturally in a truly unforgettable setting.
